my story

I was born in New York but grew up in North Carolina getting my music education degree at UNC-Greensboro with a dream to go to the Big Apple. I came to New York City with my clarinet and a dream and studied at Manhattan School of Music and Mannes College. My love for classical music, fashion, grit, and skyscrapers combined with arts and culture made this city the perfect destination for me.

The Clarinet Life is a blog that started as a YouTube channel, that illuminates my life as a city clarinetist navigating the world.

Conceived with the notion that more people need to know more about what it means to be a classical musician and truly understand the life of performing artists and all its nuances.
